Ranthambore, India
Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest and most renowned parks in northern India. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 130 km from Jaipur, the park is home to deciduous forests and a rich variety of wildlife. It is best known, however, for its relatively large tiger population.
Encountering this magnificent cat in its natural habitat is an extraordinary experience. I can only hope that these small tiger reserves will help secure the species’ future.
