Each “Collection” gallery focuses on a theme—whether it is a group of related species or another shared element. Most of the photographs come from different parts of the world, yet together they highlight how much we truly have in common. I have always hoped that the power of nature could help bring people together, no matter where they are, and remind us of our shared responsibility to care for it. With the pressures we place on our planet, our only possible future depends on preserving this miracle.
