It is well known that human relationships can be both beautiful and complex. The same holds true in nature. Observing how relationships manifest in the wild—whether between male and female, within families, or among adversaries—can capture the imagination for days. Since what you witness is expressed through body language or a “spoken” language you cannot fully understand, it sparks both imagination and reflection. Interpreting these interactions for yourself can be deeply rewarding. I often believe that we, as people, can learn a great deal from watching relationships in the wild.
